Learn and develop traditional djembe technique, rhythms and drum songs. All skill levels are welcomed.

I decided to start this group because I love drumming, playing drums, teaching drumming and all things drummy (especially with the West African djembe drum).

… Some of the various sounds will come from Native American flutes, Australian didgeridoos, Arab hand drums & ouds, harmonicas, Celtic fiddles & whistles, guitars, electronic beats, Indian tablas, tanpuras, and African drums of all sorts. We will also collaborate with a Kirtan (Devotional Chanting to Indian deities) group in the city and create smooth fusions in powerful meditative states.
