A high-energy, FUN, celebration of drumming and community. For beginners wanting to try something new, friends, experienced drummers, dancers. We celebrate the traditions - rhythms that have built energy for hundreds of years for celebration, dance, ritual - just plain FUN! As well as whatever you bring to it! This is a drumming group that promotes women learning drumming by organizing drum workshops, drum circles, and drumming events. A core group of experienced women drummers, some from the Batucada Belles, a Brazilian drum group, play at social justice events. Opportunities to learn to drum, and opportunities to play at social justice events in the Boston Area will be promoted on this meetup.

Are you an active person who is always up for a new adventure? If you are looking to join a group that is friendly, safe, and a lot of fun this would be a excellent choice. I am looking to find a group of people that like to do all different activities such as SKING! (just in case that wasn't already clear) , climbing, Yoga, Frisbee, roller coasters, movies, Djembe etc. If you are interested in an event that is scheduled please RSVP so I know to keep a eye out for you.
We are a group of people that enjoy a good drum rhythm, especially when put into a circle. Our mission is to gather other passionate people together and heal the soul and promote community through drumming and drum circles. We use any kind of percussion istrument, so bring what ever you have! We may have a couple of inruments to offer, but for now that is limited. Come join us and let the good times roll!
