We are a group of people that enjoy a good drum rhythm, especially when put into a circle. Our mission is to gather other passionate people together and heal the soul and promote community through drumming and drum circles. We use any kind of percussion istrument, so bring what ever you have!  We may have a couple of inruments to offer, but for now that is limited. Come join us and let the good times roll!

The Gathering Tree Drum Circle was founded 8 years ago and is a friendly, family-oriented, group of people who focus on creating percussive rythms, as a means of recreation, connection, and emotional and spiritual healing. We are open to all ages and cultural backgrounds. We meet every week and have no membership fees. No drumming experience is necessary and we always have extra drums to share.

This group is for any one interested in Spiritual Growth thru Drum & Dance. Most of our meetups will be on the practical side where you will actually do it rather than talk about it. We will have some lectures on Vodou and related practices. We will have several well known Haitian dancers teaching class in the coming weeks. As well as some excellent Haitian Drum teachers.

We are nature lovers and beginner drummers looking to attract a circle interested folks to enjoy their spontaneous musical expressions at the Alley Pond Environmental Center. We have a beautiful wooded setting, convenient free parking, and refreshments available for purchase. We could use some more advanced drummers to coach and encourage the rest of us.
