If you are interested in making music with others using drums and percussion this group is for you. No experience is necessary. Drums are provided. All ages are very welcome. This group meets the 3rd Sunday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30 at the Music and Arts store in Ellicott City, Maryland.

This group is dedicated to those drummers (as well as those who have never drummed before) who are ready to dedicate themselves to learning the art of percussion from the Griot Percussionist Medoune Gueye from Senegal, West Africa. We will be having events throughout the year, as well as classes in Djembe, Sabar and Kutiro drumming styles, focused on the healing properties of drumming from the traditional Griot perspective of Griot Percusionist Medoune Gueye (aka Papa Dame Gueye).
